Hi! Im Helen Vanvakaris, owner and the photographer for Tiny Toes Photography.

My Passion has always been creating beauty and art. Spending 25 years as a fashion model, Ive had lots of exposure to the film industry, from makeup, styling, set design, lighting, posing, etc. While I loved the job, I really always wanted to be behind the camera! When I had my daughter, life changed. I started to pursue my real dream of being a photographer and on this journey, I met incredible moms, families and children who helped paved the way for my career. It is so fulfilling to get to express my art through the lens, and capture these precious moments, from being pregnant, to the joy and tininess of a newborn and photograph them as they grow. And boy they grow fast!! It’s such a special privilege to be able to document theses phases and moments of life…. Hope to meet you soon!

The Tiny Toes Photography Studio is a full service, cozy Newborn and Family Photo Studio, conveniently located in the lake balboa area of Los Angeles.

I offer Maternity, Newborn, Cake Smash, Baby and Child, Sibling and Family Portraits. I also love to add the family pet for pictures too! The outfits, accessories and props for your session, so you don’t need to bring anything but the baby! I also have a little play area and outdoor swingset you are free to use. I definitely want the littles to feel at ease before snapping their pics! Its my intent that your photo session will be fun, easy going and full of laughs, smiles and memories!
